"We really loved our stay in Perledo. It is such an incredibly charming little village. The biggest negative was the lack of public transportation to the town of Varenna. The bus stopped running at around 1730. The availability of the taxi service was also very difficult to arrange later in the evening when trying to get back up to Perledo from Varenna. We would also suggest a clearly marked short-cut that can be walked. We couldn't find the short-cut our host had suggested.
